Most options software models a strategy: an iron condor, a spread, one position at a time. OptionsRealTime works at multiple levels, from a single position up to any selection of positions, accounts and currencies.

OptionsRealTime (Options RealTime) is third-party portfolio monitoring, reporting and scenario analysis software for options traders who use Interactive Brokers. It handles any number of accounts and any number of currencies.

What it does

It connects to TWS sessions and downloads positions and underlyings for all accounts: stocks, options, futures, options on futures, bonds and ETFs. It updates PnL, Greeks and other exposure metrics live through the trading day. Any chart or report can include a subset of positions from a subset of accounts, grouped by underlying, expiration or account. Reports can also group by a tag you assign. It runs what-if analyses for changes in implied volatility and underlying prices, at any date.

How it runs

OptionsRealTime is Windows software that runs wholly on your own machine and does not connect to any cloud services. The interface runs in a browser, so you can open as many views as you like, on any number of monitors and machines on your local network. OptionsRealTime reads from your accounts. It does not place trades.
